2009 Catholic Fundraising Leadership Summit: Building the Road to Recovery
Posted March 25th, 2009
|

NCDC is calling forth the leadership in the Catholic fundraising to actively engage in discussion of the major issues related to raising funds for Catholic nonprofit organizations in the midst of the largest U.S. financial crisis since the Great Depression. While we will explore these issues and their impact on Catholic fundraising, our conversations will focus on creating the road to recovery with specific, action-oriented recommendations.
Building the Road will include:
- Dissecting the old road by reviewing Giving USA’s latest information on giving patterns in 2008 and NCDC’s own statistics on giving to Catholic charities
- Grading and leveling by identifying critical issues we as Catholic fundraising leaders need to address
- Pouring new concrete by creating alternative solutions and strategies for both immediate and long-term success
- Marking the road by creating a strategic road map to recovery for the Catholic fundraising community
